Robert "Bert" Penny
Having completed a total of 75 hours training in Tiger Moths, Bert was assessed on his ability as a pilot.
His assessment on 7th July 1943 shows he scored 660 out of 1,000 in a flying test and he was recommended for further training as a Fighter Pilot.
This assessment shows he was considered then to have Average ability as a Pilot and as a Navigator.
Having passed this assessment Bert now progressed to flying Harvards.
