RAF Pilot Log Book

Bert's first flights were in Tiger Moths. His first flight was on the 3rd May 1943 and by 2nd July 1943 he had completed 75 hours flying in Tiger Moths. His first solo flight was on 11th May 1943 after 7 hours 25 minutes training.

Bert's own record shows while posted at No26 EFTS Guinea Fowl he was trained by F/Lt Wood and F/O Wheeler in 27 procedures which are detailed in Appendix 020A.
